Celilo Posted July 22, 2011 Share Posted July 22, 2011 Bart Star's wife just called to give me an update on his stroke recovery. Bart was having a problem with swelling in his legs. They operated today and removed two blood clots from his legs. He needs a couple of days rest so she asked for no visitors until after Monday (July 25th). You can send cards to: Salem Rehab Center, 2561 Center St NE , Salem, OR 97309. He is on a blood thinner now because of the new clots. He is doing pretty well and has a phone in his private room.
