Purty much the same - the other night ('bout 8 PM), the humidity was still at 81%, temp was 85o.

In Austin TX we are now at 33 days over 100 (record here is 69 days) since May. We only hit 99 a couple days ago with some cloud cover felt like a cold front. Most days are 102 - 104. Heat index numbers hitting around 110 - 115 some days when winds are off the Gulf, others when humidity is low 30% its not too bad. I work outside in a truck with no ac... temp inside the truck has been hitting 100 by 11 am and 150 by 4 pm, I get out of the truck to cool off.

Been well over 100 for 20 days now. Fortuately the humidity has been low until the last five days or so. I thank God that we have a good AC unit strapped onto the side of the house.

My youngest works out in the heat though. He has had 14 hour days 4 days a week for the last three weeks. All of his coworkers are suffering with him. Well, at least he is losing some weight like he wanted. Be very careful of what you wish for.

Mr Larue, Please remind me of global warming and the founder of the internet next January when it's 25 below with a 30mph wind!

I'll give ya my opinion then!

Buck up, Ned! I used to live in Columbia Heights, and worked in Crystal.....25 below in MN in January is a False Spring!

It's like this around here every summer and that DUMBA$$ lived right up the road for years! I wish in a way that I'da thought of his gimmick, I'd be the one doin' the, "money fer nothin'," thing and ......

Nah! I couldn't lie the way he does and then laugh all the way ta' the bank!

Sorry 'bout that!! Must be the heat!!:lol:

Well...It's been in the low 50s every morning for the last couple of weeks. This past week it got up to 78° in the afternoon and I had to come in and take a break from the heat -_-

It's been a really crappy summer here this year but I'm certainly not looking forward to coming home to all that heat and humidity in the St Louis area. But I will be glad to be home. ;)

Al Gore can KMA :P

It's been rather cool around here for the last week. Lots of big afternoon rain showers (real rain showers, not the heat effect kind) and cloud cover for the last several days.

Today the forecast is only 92. That's pretty cool for this time of year (In the Deep South, 'cool' or 'hot' are relative this time of year with 'hot' starting in the upper 90's.)

The problem is the current dewpoint of 66 and no wind. It's a good thing that it's as cool as it is or we'd need gills to breathe outside.

I moved to Maine to avoid Weather Like this and now several days in a row where I have to use the AC for a good nights sleep

ANy progress on the legal problems for your range?

That's because it hasn't been this hot since 1954. We are no where near breaking records. His dribble is no more accurate now at 100 degrees than it has been at any other temperature.

Well..Err..Ummmm.Cough.. Stutter...Cough again..

Nobody seems to be talking.

Seems the members are being kept in the dark.

Seems there is a lot going on "behind the seines".

The town Now has a 'foot in the door' and I don't see it coming out right away.

Will be shooting with Smokey Sue at the Nor-Easta this weekend and I am going to ask about it.

If you want more Info contact me at xring@maine.rr.com

Do you live any where near Bullseye Bade?

He is going too.

You might call him.

88 here, with an HI 0f 97! Just had dogs out and it's brutal out there. Have some stuff on radar headed our way, but will have to watch to see if it holds together

Hey Buck just a bit north of ya and I think we hit about 97 too! I'd rather complain about heat and humidity than 10 degrees with a wind chill of -3 and 18 inches of snow with another 4-6 on the way! Remember winter????? Yikes! Gimme all the heat ya can please!B) Rye
