The other matches in New England are good, but Heluva Ruckus is the one I look forward to the most each year, especially since they moved to September. The stages are ALWAYS interesting, fun and different, without being procedural traps or slow to shoot.
That Masked Man
What are your favorite shoots? The NEXT ONE! As of this writing, for me that would be ... Cherokee Cowboys monthly shoot this Saturday! Hi-Yo and Awwwaaaaaayyyyy!
Sergeant Smokepole #29248L
The St. Judes Charity Shoot on memorial Day weekend in Monmouth and Milan Il. You will never find a nicer group of people anywhere and all the proceeds from the shoot, raffle and auction goes to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital. Every penny. This year, they raised 40K.... It's for the kids.... That's a saying that you will hear all weekend and it is a phrase that is lived by.
Wigley Down Yonder #67002
You ask what the greatest shoot of all time is? Well without a doughty it would have to be Ft White's one day 8 stage Annual Shoot out on the Santa Fe River in October each year. You name it they did it! You want it they got it! grubstake charlie
EOT and CominAtCha (CAC) for big shoots. Buffalo Stampede and Outlaw Trail for moderate size shoots Rio Grande Renegades Halloween Shoot with stages by Texas Tiger for a club shoot (more fun than a barrel of horse riding monkeys) I hope to get to WR someday, but that will likely have to wait until I retire.
