I'm lookin for a new rifle

I'm lookin for a new Marlin 1895 Cowboy. It's 45-70, 26" octagon barrel, 9 shot mag, streight stock. My dealer can't locate one at any of his sources. Marlin is out of stock, and I have not heard back from Marlin yet, as to when they will make any more.

 

So I'm wondering if any of you know of a gun shop that has one in stock, that I can direct my dealer to?

 

Thanks in advance for any help. Email's of PM's are just dandy if someone knows where I can get one.

Thanks, but I looked at the one in the classifides. The price is right, but with the modifications that were done, and needing to be re-blued, it's not what I am looking for.

I called a few minutes ago. They are out of them. He said they had one but sold it a short time ago. Popular little devils aren't they?

Right now no one I deal with has one either.I called and checked the websites of all my distributors and they're all out of them.You are aware that Marlin and Remington have joined forces?Since they did several months ago,Marlin moved the manufacturing to a different city and are having problems catching up on Lever rifles.

Contacted them via email, and it was still there. The price is right, and it's in great condition. They sent several pics with the reply. I have just called and paid for it with my plastic, and my dealer is sending his FFL and address this afternoon.

Yup.

 

It ships today by UPS Ground. I sure hope they feed them horses regular. It's a long haul from the west coast up here to the Finger Lakes. It's gonna be a long week.
