Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 I've been married almost exactly 2/3 of my life to the same woman. We've spent almost exactly 1/2 of my life in this one house. It hasn't always been good, but it's been mostly great. Lots of travel, lots of experiences, lots of friends here and there. I'm always awed and amazed that she's stuck by me and still loves me. Maybe if I'm careful and everything works out we can get another 46 together.

Maybe some of us were going on a lot of feelings the first few years of our marriage but through the years, good and bad, it is nice to know that the commitment doesn't rely on feelings. After all these years, its just nice to know that other person will be there no matter what, and the feelings grow deeper. Cherish every minute. And that meat cleaver reminder works too!

While scanning my family tree from book form to my computer I came across a invitation to an Aunt & Uncles 60th wedding anniversary party, my Uncle lived for another 6 years and my Aunt lived for another 10 years. Any way I thought it was cool and also thought you might like it. Happy Anniversary
