Aunt Jen
Harry's movie comes out tomorrow. So I'm thinking: What if his story were based in the American Old West Frontier? There'd have to be a Hogwarts somewhere, maybe the mountains of colorado. I suppose he'd use a magical gun instead of a wand The bad guy would probably have also been a bank robber Instead of flying a broom, maybe he'd fly a pegasus Probably Will Smith, as James West would be a professor there at Hogwarts. John Wayne Clint eastwood And James Durn could be Voldemort. AJ
Aunt Jen
No. I'm wrong. I'm envisioning Harry Potter Cowboy to be something like the Harry Potter version of Clint's Man with No Name... AJ
Aunt Jen
Yeah. Harry rides toward the dusty hovel on the edge of the desert wearing his flat cowboy hat and poncho. He finds the bad guys, and whips out his want... AJ
Grizzly Dave
Couldn't say, I am one of the few folks who have not read any or the books nor seen any of the movies. My wife and daughter on the other hand... They've seen to it that I at least know the primary characters names.

Wolfgang, SASS #53480
I had NO interest in this "Harry Potter" that I'd heered that the kids were all wild about. But . . . I was stuck for a weekend at a truck stop outside of Amarillo Tx. Knowing I'd be stuck for the weekend I'd looked in a thrift shop for reading material. And I had picked up a paperback copy of the first "Harry Potter" book for 50 cents. I got HOOKED. Read it, . . . and then read it a second time that weekend. Have read them all and got the movies on DVD . . . not into going to threatres to see it right away. The kids can do that. Fun stuff. How did she manage to invent all that stuff ? Either a fantastic creative mind . . . Or wierd drugs ? Harry Potter in the old west ? . . No I don't think so. Don't give Hollywierd and crazy ideee-Rs . . . . Aunt Jen
Ok! Yes: Hermione would be like Annie Oakley! But also: Yes, it may be that my Avatar fell over. I did say that it uploaded that way, for some reason, and I can't stop it, but it could also be that it really did fall over because of all the beer Griz has been making me drink, forceably, and against my will!
