BONEYARD BILL, SASS #39,030 Posted July 14, 2011 Share Posted July 14, 2011 Hello pards. I am selling a Bear Skin rug. This is a REAL Bear Skin rug from a "Spring" bear I shot in Ontario in 1999. It weighed about 230 pounds - so - it is not the biggest bear ever taken - but it is not a cub either. Hawkins Taxidermy in Winnipeg did the work (very respected taxidermy company). It measures 57 inches nose to tail and 60 inches from front paw to front paw. I had it thumb tacked to a wall in my old house - but I have since retired and down-sized. I really don't have a good place to display it. I am looking to sell it.
