royal barnes sass #5792
Thanks, but they don't even list the 1878 in their parts inventory. I did manage to find one last night online.
Grizzly Greg, SASS #10299
Howdy Royal, Just a thought and I am sure you've already thought of it, but you may want to make a drawing or wire duplicate of those hard to find springs/parts for future reference. Grizz.
royal barnes sass #5792
Griz, I found a place that stocks this particular spring and a lot of other parts for Colts. Looking at the way this trigger spring is shaped I wouldn't even attempt to reproduce it.

Royal Barnes; click on that link and scroll way down until you see Philippine. The Colt 1878 was also called the Alaskan with a large trigger guard and longer hammer for shooting with gloves and the Philippine model. Parts are there, just no trigger spring now. Just sayin' Big Jake
