Dalton Masterson, SASS #51139 1
I have a Pedersoli/Cimarron Lightning rifle, and would like to figure out how to make it slam fire. Has anyone here figured out how to get it done? DM
Filthy Lucre, 55674L 0
Someone once told me that the Pedersoli could slam fire. Slam fired my originals from the hip. Lot of fun.
Dalton Masterson, SASS #51139 1
Nope, there is a disconnect in the trigger assembly that prevents it. I tried to do a "dumba$$" fix on it right after I got it, and grinded a bit out. I had to have my smithy reweld the part I "fixed". DM
Big Jake1001 172
Sell it and buy a Colt Lightning, they come in 32-20.....38-40......44-40. Work just fine. Just sayin' Big Jake

H. K. Uriah, SASS #74619 1,171
For the life of me I can't understand why you want it to slam fire. Gunstock Smith There are likely 2 reasons for wanting to slam fire. 1. It lets you shoot that much faster. In a game like ours based on speed, those fractions of a second can add up and make the difference. 2. It's just a wicked cool way to shoot! I've got an AWA in .45 Colt. Works flawlessly, and like original Colts, slam fires.
Dalton Masterson, SASS #51139 1
For all the reasons HK said.... And why sell it. Its a good gun. You should have stated to me to buy ANOTHER gun, not sell a gun... the shame..... DM
