Gary O
Hello to all, a very good friend gave me a Remington rolling block #1, the action only. I want to barrel it into a 38-55 to shoot long range. Any way I found out that in the last 2 issue of Shotgun News they had an articles on re-barrel this Remington. I would like to know if one of you have these article and could copy them for me and maybe e-mail them to me or send the pages to me I could pay for postage. Thank you for your help Gary O. Horace Patootie, SASS #35798
I'm sure you know that it is a black powder action. I don't have the articles you mentioned but here is a link to someone who might be of help in your endeavor. http://stores.intuitwebsites.com/hstrial-LeeShaverGuns/StoreFront.bok Horace
Doc Windshadow
Keep it Black Powder only and check out the series of videos done on building a Rolling block by the owner Of Midway at his website http://www.midwayusa.com/General.mvc/Index/VideoLibrary and select Custer's Rifle you can rent a chambering reamer from Clymer or Brownels I think a 1 inch across the flats would be a good barrel from an outfit like Green Mountain
