Marshal Dan Troop 70448
I'm putting together a display of US Army wings from WW1 to present. I'm presently in need of a 1st issue US Army Assault badge worn during early 60s. Those that know, I won't have to explain its role or qualification. I need the winged, cross rifle and lightning bolt, not the later 70s Helicopter which resembles the Glider Badge of WW2, which it replaced. I know there are fake, and repros out there, want one that is original. Any help to completing this display, appreciated. Thanks, MT
Chickahominy Charlie
I know of this badge, but unfortunately that one's a little "before my time," and I only have the ones I "earned." If I run across one, I'll pick it up. I sometimes see them in the local pawn shops, so I'll keep a look out. Chick
