Wild Will Bartell
I would really like ivory, but they're out of my price range. If anyone has any Tru-Ivory grips for a full-size Government Model that they're not using, I'd like to hear from you. I'd prefer slightly aged, but would consider other shades. Thanks. Curley Cole, SASS #56849
Boone Traders visit my friends at Boone. You can get their excellent poly-ivories starting about $45. (a couple bucks more gets you the Colt medallions) or elephant ivorys start at about $195 up. I have their polys on my Taylors and they are great, have the weight and feel of ivory and ages well. I have their elephant ivorys on my Great westerns and they are great. I can see why folks love the ivory grips... check em out curley

WWB WWB: I bought these from Esmeralda. They are made from ivorywood and hand carved with celtic checkering. They have a nice feel to them. They are "slim" style grips. They are in new condition. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b231/gsonnenmd/Colt%20Commander/DSC05104.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b231/gsonnenmd/Colt%20Commander/DSC05099.jpg I'd let them go for $100 shipped. They have some interesting variations, and their prices are very fair. Down the road, I may try to acquire a pair or two for my Cowboy revolvers as well. Pancho Thanks Pancho, but I had my sights set on smooth ivory or ivory substitute. Beautiful grips, though...

Pancho Peacemaker
These grips were made for me by Jim Alaimo. If you go for real ivory, his work is excellent and prices are very good: http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b231/gsonnenmd/SASS/DSC05257.jpg
