Oklahomabound
Our little town here in Indian Territory is celebrating our nation's Independence Day all day long... ...10 am is the parade, local flavor for sure. ...4 pm to 7:30 pm is the 63rd annual fish fry--serving around 750 to 800 folks. ...dark is the fireworks. Ms. Mary Matilda and I are w**king the fish fry--was there this evening for 4 hours or so getting the fish and chicken unfrozen and in the cooler. Cabbage cut up for slaw. Potatoes ready for french fries. Beans gone through and in water overnight. Onions are sliced. Fixin's for the corn bread are all ready... ...gonna be a great day!!!! ...fish fry raises money for our Ministerial Alliance which is a care giving effort for those needing help....
