"Akutramints" for sale. I think thats what they're called

Recommended Posts

I'm not gettin rid of all my stuff- cause I still like to dress up for real, but some of the costume stuff is just taking up space. Everything except the razor is either cowboy or period correct. As mentioned above- I concider these costume- because I have not had them tested for gold content. Bought them off e-bay over the last 6 years, and bought them for thier looks- not value. My guess is the smaller/more intricate chains are either gold plate or "rose gold". The knife fob may or may not be mother of pearl, but is definately old. I think the spectacles are "real" antique- they certainly look it, and I bought them at an estate auction. The razor is possibly somewhere around WW2 era, but thats just a guess. Everything else is either "costume" or modern reproduction.

These items are small enough- I'll cover the postage- but if you want delivery confirmation, just add a buck.

Watch Chains:

#1 A mini "albert". This might be gold. It looks like the swivel is worn without changing color- but there is silver showing through the wear on the "T". It has an interesting 3 piece fob drop. The chain itself is 7 1/2" and the fob drop is 3". $25SOLDhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a385/SlowhandTorch/100_0199.jpg

#2 This one has the appearance of "rose" gold. The overall length is 5" One end clips to the vest pocket, a dainty watch on the end would go in the same pocket- but the chain with the "signet" fob hanging out. I believe the initials are H A, but its hard to read. $25

#3 This small "albert" is way to light to be anything but plate- if that, but the square design is smooth with no tarnish or rust, and the swivel clasp looks old and real. This would fit a size 12 watch well. $15 SOLDhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a385/SlowhandTorch/100_0201.jpg

#4 This is a new reproduction of a "mourning" chain. Purchased from a vendor as a door prize. Has a winding key as the fob. $15SOLDhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a385/SlowhandTorch/100_0196.jpg

#5 This knife is definately old- but no idea how old. Might be mother of pearl and it may be plastic. Measures 1 5/8" closed. Has a wierd loop attached- but you'd have to cut it off. $15 SOLD

#10 Spectacles. These appear to be antiques. They measure 4" across the lenses, and the ear pieces are 4 1/2 " to the furthest part of the curve. I put plastic bifocal inserts in when I got these a couple of years ago- and they dried onto the lenses so that when I peeled them off- they left a residue on the lense. I'm sure thinners will dissolve it- but maybe you have a gentler solution. $20 SOLDhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a385/SlowhandTorch/100_0162.jpg

#11 Possibly saving the best for last. I bought this at an estate auction just because it was so cool. Looks like tin/chrome container- green velvet lining. The whole thing packs down to 1 7/8 by 1 1/2 by 1/2", but assembles into a functioning razor. I'm imagining this to be WW2 age- but I'm guessing. $20 Soldhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a385/SlowhandTorch/100_0184.jpg
