Linecutter
I'm selling this Smith & Wesson topbreak pistol in 38 S&W. Not sure when it was made. The hammer and trigger have been case colored, the frame and cylinder were bead blasted and blued. The gun was originally nickle plated and the bead blasting did not take off all the nickle. The gun works perfectly and will make a great pocket pistol for side matches. SOLD Thanks, Linecutter http://s63.photobucket.com/albums/h157/linecutter53861/smithandwesson/
FriscoCounty
It looks to be a .38 S&W, double action, 4th model, manufactured between 1898 and 1904. If so, it is not pre-1898.

Big Jake1001
Jan. 1st 1899 is the date used in Calif for FFL's. Anything made in 1898 is OK for cash and carry. Just sayin' Big Jake
