Guest Cactus Cris SASS#2790
My pard just had a 1 pc firing pin break, and has a new one ready to install. I took the old one out and didn't notice a spring being in or on it. So my ?? is--is there one? I know there is on the orig equipment. Thx for any help CC

Adirondack Jack, SASS #53440
Nope, no spring. For those that worry about the pin not bouncing back, the lever passes through the cut part of the pin (where the flat is), and forces the pin rearward as the bolt is opened. Solo_Sam
The one piece does not have a spring for the firing pin. Your kit may come with extra springs, but these are for the mainspring and the lever plunger. They do not go in the bolt. -Solo Sam #91319
