Yep. For example, just be darn glad he was shooting a Ruger instead of a Model 29. It could've been a lot worse.

Not really. I have seen blown up Model 29's with the exact same damage. Gun manufacters design them to blow up that way.

I think I know him. He used to live in No. CA. Nice young man. Great parents too.

It is far more likley that they will refuse to sell him any futher arms,than replace the Blackhawlk,,,,

 

Deeming him not "Responcible" enough to have Guns .....

Most of the Ruger wheelgun blowups I've seen, the topstrap holds intact. It'll bulge, but usually hold. Glad to see it spat parts straight up instead of backwards when it's bad enough to kill the topstrap.
