Hi Pards

Just a few questions about these guns what is the difference in the 100 and 200E and which one is the best and who specialises in these shotguns and who carries them for sale and parts. Why are they so good.

Thanks

Most prefer the 100 as it has extractors only and a pistol grip stock. Most of the 200E are straight stock.

I got mine from Dirt Merchant and have been more than happy with them.

Got mine from Dirt Merchant. Dollar for dollar, the best investment that I have ever made on equipment.

I've got TWO Dirt Merchant SKB's and I more than agree Dirt's SKB's are the best investment in shooting equipment I've ever made.

The missus and I both shoot Johnny Meadows SKBs and love 'em. Her's is a 100 and mine is a 200. The only difference I know of is the size of the forend. The 200 is noticably bigger so is better suited for folks with larger hands.

I have 3 of the 200E done up by Johnny Meadows. All are pistol grips, (two were bone stock when I sent them to him), beaver tail forearm and he converted my two stock ejectors to extractors and I think he probably did the same on the other. Could not be happier with his workmanship, the metal is noticably better quality than my stoegers and even with 23 inch barrels vs the stoeger 20 inch they are lighter.

I have a 100 from Colt McAllister and I have another on the way it's the best shotgun I have ever shot and for many reasons, like Deuce said Colt does Excellent work so slick you won't believe it and great price and a real good Pard to do business with. Von Dutch :)

CY-go over to gunsamerica or gunbroker they both have many to look at. There is 100,150 and 200. Note the difference with the numbers and stock configurations. To further confuse, some SXS 200's will be the same as some 100's. The 100's are a small bit heavier and very slightly better made. They are all made by Miroku, Japan, are excellent. They are almost perfect. Some of their models are also Winchester BSS. Good luck,Lee

I've never seen a 200 with a straight stock. I think the 250 (or 280) had a straight stock and semi-splinter forearm Got mine through the Navy Exchange at Iwakuni, Japan, but I went with a japanese acquaintance to the factory and picked it out there. I have removed the springs that activated the ejectors so it's a extractor-only gun.

Some 100s have the big forend.

I've got two. Both are 100s. One has a beaver tail forend. One is splinter.

I got mine cause they balance and shoulder better. The stock is really a nice fit and felt recoil is better. They are fun to shoot.

I see folks run Stoegers and Baikals equally as fast (we're talking average shooters).

The top shooters that practice regularly with these, really make them shine.

If you do not commit to working on your basic shotgun fundamentals, buying an SKB or BSS is a waste of time and money. It will not make you faster and can be a real large disappointing waste of money. But they will really improve your game up to another level if you are willing to do some serious shotgun training.

I have $1100 total between both of mine.

I am running 100 done by Colt Mcalister. Excellent work and usually has a couple in stock. Ran a personal best on 4 knockdowns last week with it.

I do a good amount of research when I buy a gun, and feel Colts are the best of the ones i have seen and shot. I bought one a few months back and my wife used it when her gun was having problems and she ordered one from Colt at the IL state shoot this past weekend.
