Trailrider #896 Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Howdy, Pards, My 98+ Mom has been in the hospital with some sort of infection. After a week, the docs can't figure out where it is. So they are sending her home, with her 24/7 caregivers and home hospice-care. We live about 1,000 miles, and will be flying out early tomorrow (can't get out today anymore). Not sure what the prognosis is, but while we don't "throw dirt in sick folk's faces until it's time," at this age, one just never knows. It isn't necessary for everyone to post a reply here, just keep her in your thoughts! She's lived a great life, and the main thing is to keep her comfortable for however long she has. Ride easy, but stay alert! Godspeed to those still in harm's way in the defense of Freedom everywhere! God Bless America! Your Pard,
