Another first for Badger

Recommended Posts

I was reading the poverty thread and got to thunkin'. Never my strong suit and never a good thing.

When I was a mere lad growing up, there was a lot of conversation about the end of the world as we know it.

This was at the beginning of the Atomic Age and there was talk of blowing up the world with bombs and

runaway nuclear fission or fusion or what ever. I never could get them straight but I always figured that

either one would not be a good day and could makea crispy critter out of BMC.

One edumicated feller brought forth the thesis that those folks in the more remote corners of the world would fare far better than the folks in the developed areas of the world. His theory was on the fact that all of the infrastructure would fail and there would be no water, electricity and food supply. The folks next to nature would be far better off. I find that to be an interesting concept. Kinda like a diamond with many facets.

There she was just a-walkin' down the street

singin' do-wah diddy-diddy down diddy-do

snappin' her fingers and shufflin' her feet

singin' do-wah diddy-diddy down diddy-do

She looked good, LOOKED GOOD

she looked fine, LOOKED FINE

she looked good, she looked fine

and I nearly lost my mind

Before I knew it she was walkin' next to me

singin' do-wah diddy-diddy down diddy-do

Holdin' my hand just as natural as can be

singin' do-wah diddy-diddy down diddy-do

We walked on, WALKED ON

to my door, MY DOOR

we walked on to my door

then we kissed a little more

Wo-o-o-oh, I knew we were falling in love

yes I did, and so I told her all the things

that I'd been dreamin' of

Now we're together her nearly every single day

singin' do-wah diddy-diddy down diddy-do

We're so happy and that how we're gonna stay

singin' do-wah diddy-diddy down diddy-do

I'm hers, I'M HERS

she's mine, SHE'S MINE

I'm hers, she's mine

wedding bells are gonna chime

Wo-o-o-oh, I knew we were falling in love

yes I did, and so I told her all the things

that I'd been dreamin' of

Now we're togther nearly every single day

singin' do-wah diddy-diddy down diddy-do

We're so happy and that how we're gonna stay

singin' do-wah diddy-diddy down diddy-do

I'm hers, I'M HERS

she's mine, SHE'S MINE

I'm hers, she's mine

wedding bells are gonna chime

Singin' do-wah diddy-diddy down diddy-do

do-wah diddy-diddy down diddy-do

do-wah diddy-diddy down diddy-do

Loved that song!!!!

BMC, they could put on Comin' At Cha, the greatest show on earth, heck, it's even enough to get me out of Colorado two years in a row. You and Willie should go down there for it!

Willie has eye problems, and Momma ain't doing right well here. Think We might pass. Willie might get a wild hair and go. Ask him.

Badger I ain't so sure about that back to nature thingy. I tried Nuclear fishin once they don't have bones but they are hard to split. Glow worms did seem to be the best bait tho!

BUBBLEGUM WORMS WITH A SLIP BOBBER, Marshal.

Given the opportunity, Maybe Captain Jack and Badger could take the EXLIAR MEDICINE show on the road and jus travel around an see all the fine folks and maybe snap a cap with em. Forgot, I don't use caps.

Health reasons and other considerations will keep Badger pretty close to the Plantation for a while I am sure.
