Forty Rod SASS 3935
A new shovel for her garden, four bags of potting mix, a dozen new plants, a 50 foot soaker hose, and dinner with our daughter and her boyfriend. It's what she asked for. I get to do the prep and planting NOT what I asked for, but I'll do it without complaining.
el Gato Gordo - SASS #15162
Planted the rhubarb for her. My interest in strawberry-rhubarb pie is just coincidental.... Buena suerte, eGG (who is hoping for RAIN!)
Marshal Phil DeGrave SASS #55202
My wife handed me a Honey Do list, then went shopping with her sisters. What she GOT was; 1. A phone call sayin I'm going to the hospital with my head sliced wide open. 2. She Got to see that I was ok, despite all the blood in my hair, clothes and all over my hands and face. She DIDN'T get; 1. To see the doc put 6 staples in my head. 2. To go to brunch with her family 3. A card that I was going to get her while she was shopping. Forty Rod SASS 3935
Phil, you have to keep your guard up and stop leading with your head. You'll make it up to her, of course?
Utah Bob #35998
Montana Silversmith earrings. Always a safe bet. And you can tell us the 1911 brand name. In fact, we insist.
Noah Cash
OK, fairly new to forum, didn't want to commercialize the post, but it was a Kimber Ultra Carry with Crimson Trace grips. A real sweet handgun. We went out to shoot it and just got back. She is good with it. Sweet gun for a sweet lady.

You can say Kimber, Colt, Ruger, Remington, Glock, Uberti and anything else ya want here. Not considered commercial unless you're in the business of selling them. That's a fine piece. Big50
My wife rarely asks or even hints for anything. Last week she asked about getting an I-Phone 4 so that she could "see" her great granddaughter while they talked on the phone. Let me see, in the last year I have 2 new rifles and two new pistols....Um...yes you can"have" one...LOL...we picked it up Saturday and she has been playing with it ever since. I am so pleased I could do that for her. Oh and by the way she has had her own 1911 for the last 30 years or so. She too, is very good with it. I offered to let her "upgrade" from her old Colt Series 70 Combat Commander I bought her before my first patrol and she laughed, then she threatened my life if I jacked with her pistol. I do so love that girl. I am so blessed.
