Sixgun Shorty, SASS #35717 Life Posted May 1, 2011 Share Posted May 1, 2011 Looking for a premium, ORIGINAL ONLY 1873 Winchester, caliber preferably 44 WCF or 28 WCF, but caliber is relatively unimportant .Full length magazine, Octagonal Barrel 24 " Rifle, Not carbine.Prefer 3rd model, but 1st and 2nd are OK. Must be 100% complete, functioning as designed,original sights,NO replacement parts, original stock/forearm.NOT Refinished in any way, must have original dust cover and all original parts.Must be19th century production and must be capable of lettering by Cody in same configuration in which it left the factory: no shortened barrels, changed calibers,No re varnished wood, etc....Will pay top dollar for the right gun..No wall hangers or 'project' guns, Please I don't expect museum quality or even want museum quality..just a nice well used and well cared for unmessed with 73!
