old fuzzy Posted April 25, 2011 Share Posted April 25, 2011 I am building one of Rolan Kraps gun cart and need some help: I am at stage 4 and need to know how to attach the key box as there seems to be a difference between what is posted on his website and the instructions I downloaded. Rolan Kraps, SASS # 24084 Life Posted April 25, 2011 Share Posted April 25, 2011 Fuzzy, I do it one of two ways. First is to drill three holes, 3/8" from the front of the keybox where it overhangs the back of the vertical gun rack and then drill down into the horizontal support. Wyandot Jim Posted April 25, 2011 Share Posted April 25, 2011 Well, I built Rolan's cart about 4 years ago and I'm very happy with it. The change I made was to install the box with wood dowels rather than the vertical screws. This allows you to remove the box and leave your stuff in the box when the cart is folded.
