I don't know the exact diameter of the driving bands (it might be on the LEE website though) but it would not take any time to see if they would fit under the rammer with or without carving on the barrel. My thinking is they oughta fit since most military ammo was paper cartridges and they were often supplied with pretty long bullets. If you get the mold, get the double cavity mold.
