Dad was also a cop on KC and back around 1970 some FFA boys from the Cortez area in Colorado came to the big FFA convention in KC. Dad looked them up and took them for a grand tour around KC and gave them a helicopter ride in the police chopper. Later that next year dad and mom went to the Cortez area and got ahold of one of the boys. All the boys gave mom and dad their grand tour of the area and then one of the boys dad gave this to dad in token of thanks for taken care of them in the BIG CITY.
