Gunner Gatlin, SASS 10274L Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Down payment made A local gun feller here had a 5 1/2" barreled Vaquero (no...not New Vaquero) in stainless steel. It will be a perfect match for my other 5 1/2" barrelled SS Vaquero... Why some may ask since I have 7 1/2" blued version of the same.... Well, shooting Gunfighter it's only natural to do so. The longer barreled gun just was a wee bit harder to shuck and return to the holster. The good thing though is I will now have a 'back up' in the pistol arena if needed. Now I will need a 'back up' shotgun....someday My appreciation to Deuce Stevens who has been a paramount help in getting me more involved with our sport...he was able to find it for me and negotiate a better price too. He should be a TG or Regulator with the influence and support he shares with many... GG ~ Quote
