Dutch Henry Starr 74633
Hi Pards, I am just getting started in reloading shotgun shells (12 gauge). I have a MEC Jr. Mark 5 reloader. I plan on using red dot powder because I have a lot of it but can use something different if need be. I need some formulas for cowboy action feather light loads. If you could pm me information on loads, I would apprecciate it. Also, could you give me an ideas of what size bushings I need to use. Thank you very much, Red Jepson alias Dutch Henry Starr
Abilene Slim SASS 81783
Lots of info here: Alliant Site And here: Mec Site Before you do anything, get a shot shell reloading manual such as Lyman's and read it thoroughly. Reloading them is different from metallic cartridges. Lots you need to know before pulling the handle. Good luck!
The Original Lumpy Gritz
Get your scale out and CONFIRM what those bushings say. I have found the MEC powder bushings to be "OFF" quite a bit from what MEC sez they should throw. Cheers, LG
