Gatekeep #49020 Posted April 12, 2011 Share Posted April 12, 2011 I have a steel framed adj. sight 1858 Pietta 44 cal .After seeing the Krist 22 conv. in the CC, I had a idea! If I was able to replace the small cylinder bolt with a newer large one. I could use my RD and extra cyl.which I have for my newer '58. Or with it being the adj.sight model maybe I could zero in one of those new Krist 22 conv.unts. Which would be my goal . VTI shows bolts for $15 + shipping. No price on the Krist yet on the web sight. Has anyone done this bolt replacement? Can it be done with a little file-ing? Thanks in advance ,Gatekeep.
