Sabertooth Cowboy Hall of Fame Proof A rare 1 of 6 knife wtt

Recommended Posts

Pards,

I am wanting to get back into the game and I have this very rare one of only 6 proofs commisioned by the Cowboy Hall of Fame for trade here is the info:

Ok here you have one of the holy grails of Sabertooth Knifes by a very famous and very nice person Jefferson Spivey. This man who road his horse from coast to coast back in 1968 and created and produce the very exclusive knifes named Sabertooth's which he still makes to this very day based on that 7 month journey.

This special proof knife here before your eyes was commissioned by the Cowboy hall of Fame back in 1976-1977 by the director at the time Dean Krakel there where only 6 proofs made A-F and then followed by 101 knifes.

Jefferson discussed with legendary knife maker Bo Randall on what type of metal to be used with these knifes Bo suggested Chromolly. In Time Bo followed up with Jefferson as to the progress with the knifes as they spoke jefferson was working on #015 which he sent to Bo after being finished and has been told that knife is on display at the Randall Knife Museum.

Since I only live about an hour away from Jefferson I was able to have him sign the knife for me in person like I said he is the nicest fellow you will ever have the pleasure to meet or visit with.

If I can answer any further questions please dont hesitate

Ok this piece of history is worth plenty his normal plain knifes usually sell for between $550 to $600 Ivory or exotic woods usually sell for $1,500 or more I have my knife priced at $1,000 a very fair price for a very limited run.

I am looking for the following trades:

Old model vaqueros .45 cal 4 5/8 or 3 1/2 will trade knife for two pistols prefer birdsheads and SS if at all possible.

TTN 12 gauge and some quality leather holsters I feel the gun is worth $450 and leather should be at least worth close to $450 would like holsters/cuffs/shotgun belt matching will trade for these items

1873 .45 lever with action work will trade straight across for a rifle.

Will also trade for any of the above items and cash so if you only have a TTN will take that and work on the difference with you?

Thats about it pards hopefully we can work a deal?
