Cypress Sun 3,113
Just wondering whether the possible Fed shutdown would affect gun sales. Would NICS still operate?
Irish Red OToole, #48939 0
Don't know about NICS. CA firearm sales are handled by the State Dept. of Justice. So, we will continue to sell firearms even if the feds shut down.
Tom Bullweed 477
Another great reason to have my CCW! No NCIS check is required in NC if you can provide your CCW license. Maybe reducing the sales of guns will cause there prices to drop......
Church Key, SASS # 33713 251
I just picked up a Trench Gun from my FFL. She said that NICS will still operate with Gov't supervisors staffing the phones. Contractors would be furloughed. Will probably have long phone waiting times.
Three Foot Johnson 2,610
NICS will still operate with limited staffing. Expect delays.
Gold Canyon Kid #43974 105
OBE, deal reached to eliminate an insignificant few billion dollars from a budget that is spending a trillion plus more than it takes in. Makes a lot of sense to be happy about it, doesn't it?
