Capt. James H. Callahan
Drinks all around Bottles. Went to the funeral of my dad's and my old boss today who passed away at 85. He sure was a good'un. WWII Navy vet to boot. My dad worked for him for close to 35 years, worked his last shift the day he died. I worked for him while in high school and college as well. Always got a Christmas bonus. Dad had a heart attack while I was in school in Austin, missed like 6 weeks of work, never missed a paycheck. So long Bill, see ya again by and by. http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/reporternews/obituary.aspx?n=billy-b-massey&pid=149886917 Then tonight my favorite pair of slippers died. Actually just the right one, but one slipper ain't worth much. It's been coming apart for some time. I guess I got it too wet watering the lawn this evening and the bottom fell out. Literally. My wife bought 'em for me several years ago, and when I blew a lumbar disc about three years ago, they were the only shoes I could wear for a few weeks. Pulling boots on and off was out of the question.. http://www.zappos.com/multiview/7453966/278 Well, gonna kill this beer and hit the sack. Hopefully tomorrow will be better! Buenos noches, JHC
Grizzly Dave
Capt, my condolences on your loes(es). Kinda cool looking slippers. I've never been much of a slippers guy, dunno why. I tend to go barefoot or just slip into a pair of tennis shoes with no socks if I need something quick on my feet.
