Charlie Bison
This is a Turnbull Limited Winchester run take down rifle chambered in .45-70 only, with a 26 inch ½ round, ½ octagon barrel and crescent butt plate. Turnbull Manufacturing removed the tang safety, taking this rifle back to a half-cock notch safety as it was originally designed. The receiver, hammer, lever, forend cap and crescent butt plate are finished in Turnbull’s period-correct Color Case Hardening. The rear sight is their modified “flat top” style and the front sight is a 1/16” diameter brass bead. These are the same sights used on their Turnbull Manufacturing Company .475 Turnbull rifles. The factory wood is refinished to a proper finish as they do with all their restorations. To obtain this type of rifle now would cost over $4000 and a couple month wait. All proper paperwork is included. I am asking $3100+shipping Please see link below for Pics: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=224709564
