Subdeacon Joe
Why do Cowpokes buy guns they don't use just to sell them for a loss? It is their generous and charitable nature, Matthew. They know that there are pards who can't afford them, so, out of the pure goodness of their hearts, they buy up the guns and then sell them to the pards who want them for what they can afford. Pure charity. (actually, I'm only half way kidding there. I think there are people that buy guns knowing that they are never going to use them and know they will take a loss when they sell them. But they like the idea of owning them for a little while, before getting them to a good home)

Beeline Bullet
Just human nature I guess. I've done the same thing with motorcycles and musical instruments as well. My wife gave me a good piece of advice though, just pretend you don't own it anymore and forget about it. Later when you wish you had one... there it is!!
