Tang Sight needed

Recommended Posts

I'm casting about for a used Tang Sight to fit my Henry Hoo1T. Someone said that a Taurus fold down Tang sight will work, but everyone seems to have them on backorder with an indefinate delivery date. Marbles has one, but they seem to think all theirs are made of gold lately. (Gotta buy a base, then a staff, then a screw set) Lots a bucks. Anyone got something I can get and not have to hock the kids to do it?

Howdy,

I just put a nice tang sight from Jeffs Outfitter on my uberti .22.

It hasnt made it to the range yet but definitly looks cool.

It mounts with two screws spaced 1 and 1/8 inches apart.

Cost shipped was about $71.

Screws included.

Delivery took about a week.

SIT1101 - listed to fit marlin.

My uberti already had holes drilled and tapped, shouldnt cost that much.

the guys at Jeffs might know if it will fit.

My henry shoots great with the stock sights.

Best

Thanks for the lead Chili. That is a bigger sight than I want to put on my little Henry. The marbles or Taurus is exactly what I want. (Ones' too high priced, other is backordered everywhere). My Henry shoots well with the stock sights, I just have trouble see'n 'em.

There is a Taurus sight at Deer Creek gun shop in Marietta Ga. It was marked $62. I considered getting it, but not at retail.

I agree. They shouldn't cost over $40.00. Most places (that don't have any in stock) list them for around $35.00. I've got a lead on a new Marbles that MIGHT pan out. Thanks for thinking about me.
