I heard the you can replace them with 1911 hammer springs 30# or 34# ? Thanks Willie Replaced mine with the 1911 hammer springs, started out with a 26#, but one barrel wouldn't fire. Put 30# in and it works fine, now stays open when loading, also cut the lever release spring down one coil to allow the lever to work better.
