RonJMurray
Anyone know what the deal with Rossi is? I can't find a Rossi usa (braztech) 92 anywhere in stock? Even the shops that have a web ordering site from a central wholesaler show that there are none available. the Chiappa Italian made rifles are so much more expensive due to coming from italy instead of brazil, and the poor dollar/euro exchange rate. Mix that with the quality concerns with the chiappas that i have read about, it makes it hard to pay more than twice as much for a chiappa made rifle over a Rossi. Just wondering if I'm the only one wondering, or if anyone has any insight on this? Ron

I've ordered a few SASS guns from Ables http://www.ableammo.com/ and the sales reps there were always very honest and accurate with projected "due dates" for incoming out of stock items (last item was a Stoeger stainless coach gun) that they nailed to + or - one week. Pretty good for a distributor. Best of luck. Smithy.
RonJMurray
I have already been corresponding with Steve about his services. He has a 5-6 month backlog currently, so I was thinking that i would get one and play with it, while i was waiting to send it to him to slick it up. Mostly what i was wondering was if anyone knew why we are having what seems like a production issue. Maybe being more popular than production estimates,a nd they can't keep up, or actual production problems, or maybe this is normal that they only deliver to the US a couple times a year, and we are just at the end of the cycle? Just wondering if anyone knows? Ron
RHL
I just picked up a Puma 92 20" octagon bbl at one of the dealers locally, to use while I wait for my rifle from Steve. I'm guessing there are some floating around out there its just a matter of finding them. You could contact the Rossi USA maybe they could answer your questions. Bart Solo
I just got my Hartford back from Steve today. I can't wait to take it out of the box and see how it works. Steve has a reputation for tuning a 92 to be as slick as the weekend shooter needs, and then some.

Hartford from Steve and I'm pretty darn excited for the day that it arrives and I can shoot it. Of course then my two other 92s will have to be shipped to Steve fer sum improve'in. Pay Dirt Norvelle #90056
I was lucky in that Steve had one in stock when I contacted him and was able to get a 20" Octagonal barrel 1892 in 45 Colt. It shoots very nice and smooth.
