Utah Bob #35998 Posted March 8, 2011 Share Posted March 8, 2011 I was thinking about Memorial Day and that led to this. I'm thinking of putting a remembrance page on the SASS Vets site. It wouldn't be anything elaborate like The Virtual Wall; just a listing of names of our friends who didn't come home. Here's my idea. 1. The name of your buddy. I know we can't even remember full names all the time. Sometimes just nicknames or first names. If you only knew the guy as Four-Niner, that's fine. 2. Submitted by - Your name or alias 3. Rank & Branch of service 4. Date of death - Just the year 5. Location 6. Any words you want to say. I would also include a link to The Virtual Wall on the page for those who want to check on fallen comrades. Feedback? Update Thanks for the info and suggestions. The page is now up.
