ShadowCatcher
why so much about Charlie Sheen and Lindsy Lowbrain on tv.. more on them than whats important, like what to do about making jobs, or the price of oil, ya kno IMPORTANT stuff.. maybe even the budget... 1. There's a lot of folks out there who just can't deal with the real important stuff, they need a pacifier, and T.V. provides that. 2. Most Make Believe Media on T.V. has been proven (in the opinion of many viewers) to have a bias that is no longer acceptable. 3. There are so many other sources of information that one is no longer limited to the meager offerings of the T.V. 4. Internet reporting gives you the choice of what to read and at what time of day or night, so you have the freedom to peruse at your leisure. In general the T.V. is more or less all eye-candy, nothing really serious or of import is happening there - the sound bite format is boring to most thinking people, and the talking or shouting heads are not even as much fun as when they were a novelty. Or - as Bruce Springsteen said: 57 channels and nothing on. Shadow Catcher
