Sound didn't scream "G.I.". more accurate that an AK. Let me get closer to the ground than an AK. Reasonably accurate within 300 meters. I never fired one for real at distances past 200 meters. Whadaya' think?? Let me know when and I'll be there too. Bama, There is a pawn shop in Atalla just south of the RR overpass that has several SKS' for sale. You might be able to get a deal on one.
