Complicated Lady
I don't like to wear a hat. I'm just not a hat kinda gal. But.. if I want to shoot BWestern I have to wear a hat. If I shoot BWestern I have to shoot my Marlin. (brass ejects out the side) If I shoot Lady Wrangler I don't have to wear a hat. I can shoot a 73...slicker, faster... Sounds great right? When I shoot a 73 the hot brass sometimes ends up where I don't want it... "hot, hot, hot" ....if I would wear a hat that wouldn't happen. But... I don't like to wear a hat!!!! I guess I could just wear higher collars huh?
Blasted Cap
How about putting a "wild rag" or bandanna on with the tail in the front. Once your done shooting slip it off. No hat and no hot brass where it doesn't belong. Also no higher collars.

shenny
sometimes high collars don't work either. Just go with it and see how it works out. Hats don't always work either. High collars seem to work best in what you are speaking of. Just a long winded way of saying hot brass can burn delicated skin. Shenny
DocDisaster # 45431
Wear a hat or do the Hot Brass Dance, just make sure your muzzle is pointed down range.......
