Forty Rod SASS 3935
Why can I get these abominations from three or four manufacturers (not to mention "transitional" Henrys, cartridge conversions that were scare as hens' teeth, and Schofields) and no one makes a 1st Model S&W Russian? The closest is the Beretta 3rd Russian and last I heard it wasn't SASS legal because of a rear sight issue...besides, the 2nd and 3rd Russians are UGLY!!! C'mon, I ain't getting any younger. Dog Ears Wilson, SASS #77948
+1 And no one manufactures a Merwin & Hulbert copy either! (Just a joke, folks!)
J-BAR #18287
Perhaps if the S&W were used by the hero in a western series (Wanted Dead or Alive), or by a beautiful woman in a sci-fi series (Firefly) you would have better luck...!
WOLFY
Its too bad someone can't negate the adjustable sights on the beretta they'd be pretty neat

Pettifogger, SASS #32933
Its too bad someone can't negate the adjustable sights on the beretta they'd be pretty neat You can, the rules provide that, "The Beretta “Laramie” rear latch with the adjustable rear sight may be replaced with the rear latch (with fixed sight) from the “Russian” Model in order to be allowed as a fixed sight model revolver." Beretta doesnt show neither on their site anymore, are they off catalog but still available?
