I have to ask what your objective is as there are nuances to loads that accomplish different things. Are these for pistol or rifle? Do you want the softest load possible? Makes a difference. Captain Woodrow Cahill, SASS # 54363 Posted February 16, 2011 Share Posted February 16, 2011 Howdy James - Based upon my own experiences with Trail Boss in 45 Colt, I would suggest loading more towards the top end of the data. It may be a little peppy, but it'll be more consistent in performance. I found it also needs a good tight crimp to reduce blow-by, especially in rifles.
