Sergeant Smokepole #29248L
A couple of weeks ago, I posted that I bought a Lyman tang sight for mt Marlin 1894. I mounted it and sighted it in this last week. At 50 feet, the lowest setting places my groups about 1 1/2 inches high. This is about right for a 50 yard zero with my loads. You could kinda say it's point blank range.... Look out targets... I can now see my sights...........

Cpt Dan Blodgett, SASS #75655
Sounds like you need a taller front sight. Or a shorter if you want to take a 6 O'Clock hold and have maximum elevation available for more distant targets. Sorry Nate, sometimes the old HiPower Bullseye shooting side of the brain just kicks in.
