Rufus Brady
Just finished Dean Koontz's new book. Over the last few years, he wrote a new version of the Frankenstein story. Well, his latest book is number four and a sequel. Mr K lives in SoCal. Orange County is pretty conservative for California but it is a far cry from NorCal, eastern Washington, etc.. Not to spoil the ending but to relate one episode that happens: A strategic mistake the "monsters" make is trying to attack a church meeting in a "shall issue state"! Dutch Coroner
He lives in CA now, but he is from my hometown of Bedford, PA., where schools still close for the first day of deer season. His upbringing would have been "on our side", but who knows now? He has been living in LA LA land for a long time. I have always liked his writing BTW. The Original Bad Bob
Rufus, What are the titles? I reread as I teach the original Frankenstein novel every year. Sounds like something I might want to read.

The Original Bad Bob
Looks interesting. He creates a race of superhuman creatures, but the setting sounds like the near future. I bet they don't turn out to be what he thought they would be. Just like in the original.

Barkeep Casey
Love Koontz as well, he has always done a pretty good job representing firearms in his books, and writes with a pretty fair knowledge. I would guess him to be an owner or shooter or collaberates with one for his books.
Blackwater 53393
Schoolmarm reads him a lot. In one of his earlier books he included referances to CAS and his works that I've read are high quality and seem to be firearms friendly.
