Buck D. Law, SASS #62183 Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Here's something I thought some of you might enjoy reading. It's nice to know we're not the only ones trying to keep "cowboy" alive.
Captain Woodrow Cahill, SASS # 54363 Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 An often overlooked and ignored aspect of Old West history. I've read where it's estimated that up to 15,000 cowboys were black. Besides cowboys, a number of them were also famous outlaws as well as lawmen. Unfortunately, most of what folks know about The West they learned from Hollywood. And we all know that it often gets things wrong.
