Back 40 #23910 L
We will be shooting long range at the Midwest Classic and the Illinois State Shoot. I am wanting to make a simple and portable shooting bench to use at these shoots. Anyone have one? Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!
Gawd Awful
I can't find the link at work but if you google portable shooting bench there are plans for one you make from a sheet of plywood and some table hinges. I think it was on the high road forum but can't be positive. If you can't find it shoot me a pm and I will try to find it tomorrow night

Bull Creek Cole
I went to wally-world and bought a portable, plastic, folding table (about 2'x6') and set my sandbags, or bench-rest vice, on top of the table. It was a little low, so I nailed two 2x8's together and put them under the legs to boost it up a few inches. It's not real fancy, but it's light and portable and folds up into a small package. My buddy has a bench that looks a lot like the one shown on the high road link. It's a nice solid set-up. Most of the time we take my rig because it's easier. Deadeye Dingus
I made several of these a few years back. Simple to make and inexpensive. Bought the folding table legs at Lowes. I used treated plywood just to improve the durability. I use 'em for shooting and sighting in out in the backyard and load 'em up and take 'em to Kansas every year to do some prairie doggin'. If I get this link hooked up correctly, there's even a drawing with measurements to work with. Have fun makin' one of these. Slowhand Bob, 24229
I went to this site and found some interesting projects but was unable to get to any actual plans there. Under shooting accessories he listed a couple of really neat looking black powder pistol loading stands with illustrations that work well but no plans will appear for me. Same for the shooting bench plans also! Wonder if my puter thang, on this end, is not up to date enuff or the plans have been dropped from his end?? http://vbwhiz.isa-geek.net/plans/
