Ben Lucky, SASS #32480L
This is a cool old Ithaca manufactured in the 1920s. Apparently this shotgun was also a subject of some contention between the Chief of Police and the Fire Chief in Maywood California. To that point the police chief actually engraved the stock. Okay, the chief scrawled on the stock the substance of the conversation and signed it. The stock reads: "To C.M.Coors, Chief of Fire Department From Charles T. Porter, Chief of Police Legal Length 20" Brl." She ain't pretty, but she'll do. The bluing is no more, but it has a nice patina, and the bore is clean and smooth. I had Bob Shaw work on the action and put a big brass bead on the front so she booms. http://i768.photobucket.com/albums/xx321/KenWagnerRealtor/Ithaca%2012%20guage%20double/100_6569.jpg http://i768.photobucket.com/albums/xx321/KenWagnerRealtor/Ithaca%2012%20guage%20double/100_6571.jpg http://i768.photobucket.com/albums/xx321/KenWagnerRealtor/Ithaca%2012%20guage%20double/100_6572.jpg http://i768.photobucket.com/albums/xx321/KenWagnerRealtor/Ithaca%2012%20guage%20double/100_6568.jpg http://i768.photobucket.com/albums/xx321/KenWagnerRealtor/Ithaca%2012%20guage%20double/100_6567.jpg http://i768.photobucket.com/albums/xx321/KenWagnerRealtor/Ithaca%2012%20guage%20double/100_6570.jpg Given the age, this appears to be a Curio/Relic. So, $250+ shipping will do. Thanks, Ben Lucky 714-277-9006 aka Ken Wagner
