Phantom, SASS #54973 Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 You'd be a fool to buy those types of guns sight unseen without knowing the seller personally...
Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Pokkit change? Yer pokkits is bigger'n mine.
The Original Bad Bob Posted February 6, 2011 Author Posted February 6, 2011 I'd never be able to buy any real antiques anyway. Just wanted to show these to you all.
Tom Bullweed Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 The real money would be the .44 RF ammo to shoot in them. Antique '73s and '92s can be had for much less and shoot the original bottleneck cartridges much better than the Italian copies do with straight cases. I paid much less for my very shootable original Winnies than the copies are running now. That also goes for my '87 and '97 shotguns, even thoguh I can only shoot BP loads in the '87.
Grizzly Dave Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Well, if yer pockets are that deep, maybe ya can find enough extra to buy me a codymatic 73 in 357 and a Browning BSS 12 ga, thanks in advance!
Gunner Gatlin, SASS 10274L Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Heck...buy what ya want... GG ~ U*S*A flag
