It had a UV filter on it from the second it came out of the box. I am very fussy about my equip. I am a full time Professional and take very good care of it. Includes both factory caps and Canon Soft case and Canon Hard Lens shade. Perfect working condition one of my favorite lenses amazing portraits. This I kept after thinning my equipment over the summer from 7 bodies down to 4 and never used it one in 6 months so I won't miss is I have 2 others the same and they have never failed me. Includes box and all factory packing. There is on small mark next to one of the switches no scratched or dents or gouges anywhere. Contacts a clean and excellent . No fungus of fogging always stored in Climate controlled studio. I bought this new from Calumet Photo in Chicago and it is Canon USA. not Grey market. not refurbished.
