GG we got about 6" last night so its about time for round one with the snow blower and if the weather geeks are right there will be at least 2 more before this storm finishes up. Going to hunker down at the lead pot and make more bullets in between taking the torro for a walk.

Everyone be careful out there if you have to travel.

No snow in Cheyenne, temp is currently -20. Laramie is -39, windchill -50. Feeling the full effect of Global Warming.

I doubt we'll shoot this weekend.

I have 6-7 foot drifts and 3-4 feet in the street. My poor little Westie was freaked out when I took her out this morning.

24 actual inches. Have a burn barrel next to the house, well use to have one can't see it anymore. Three days prior to the storm we were in Springfield Missouri and the tempeature was 65. Not just the snow but will be -9 below tonight. Good ole Missouri, or is that Missery Weather!! :o

You know it's bad when the "yanks" are complaining about it......lol.

You got that right. Just got done clearing out the car for the second day in a row. Not done yet, but ya gotta make haste while the plow is nearby.

We got about 9 inches on top of 1 1/2 inches of ice. That is total yesterday and today.

Springfield this morning...12 inches on my deck. That 65 degree weekend is a distant memory. Good thing I enjoy reloading.

Hey Gunner! We got spared this time up here just an hour away from Port Huron in Ontario. For Snowmaggedden we got 5 feet of the dang stuff but only a foot this time. I'll clean that out with the snowblower real quick.. I'm heading to Phoenix tomorrow morning and coming through your way down #69 to avoid Chicago (they got hit bad - sorry Sgt Smokepole!) and into Indiana for the day's run. I'm hoping the major roads are cleared up by tomorrow!!

We have about 16"-18" here in SE Kansas and 3'-6' drifts in town. There's 10'+ drifts outside town. My son, senior in high school, and his friends are having a great time in their 4x4's. It's a good time for me to stay inside and reload. No power outages that I know of, but I just ate my last pound of bacon this morning -- so I guess I'm having a bacon shortage.

We got around 14 inches here in Blue Springs, MO. The wind was pretty high most of the night. My bookkeeper has 5 foot drifts. I believe her. I have spent the morning shoveling out. I still have 1/3 of the driveway to go. Where is my son and his blasted snow blower when I need him. I discovered one thing yesterday. I can put in more billable hours at home than at the office. The computer paid for itself.

The man says an Official 10". I came down the hill this morning but had to put the Dodge PU in 4WD to do so. Found out why when I tried to go home. A drift about half way up the hill is well over 2' deep. Truck bottoms out on it. won't get the truck home for several days now. Just a short walk up and down.

Stay warm Gunner, and focus on those indoor projects. Let me know if you get caught up on reloading I could use some help :D

...0 degrees this morning and all the way to 11 degrees right now, 14" of snow over 1" of ice, big time wind drifted the snow like crazy.

...so far have stuck and unstuck the farm truck, mule, and wife's jeep Liberty.

...had to come in and get warm and eat a bit of lunch...

...next chore is to get the little tractor started (has a front end loader) and go clear our road. Have one really nice 4' high drift that's 'bout 100' long to clear and rest looks pretty good....

...later

Well it looks to have stopped here, probably another 4" after the 6" this morning so not as bad as they were talking about originally for the area. One more session with the snowblower should about do it. Kind of funny, my Mom called while I was casting on the porch to make sure all was OK. Turns out it was colder in NM then up here in NH.

Pics during the storm in Historic Downtown Hannibal, Missouri. The pics with all the lights are the first responders getting a call of injury/health problems at the neighbors.
